Back to calendar

SHAPE x CFCCT Girls Y5/6 League

This league gives your pupils the chance to represent their school and potentially progress to national competitions.

What’s the Aim?

The league winner will represent Chesterfield FC in the Premier League Primary Stars U11 Girls Cup. The highest-placed Chesterfield school and the highest-placed North East Derbyshire school will each represent their area in the English Schools FA (ESFA) U11 Girls Cup.

How Does the League Work?

Schools take part in fixture days (mini tournaments) at 3 venues. Teams earn points based on their results. The top 8 teams (based on points per game) qualify for Finals Day. To be eligible, your school must attend at least 2 fixture days.

Fixture Day Venues

Staveley Miners Welfare / Gosforth Playing Fields / Brookfield Community School

Finals Day will be held at Staveley Miners Welfare.

Team Details

7-a-side matches (with a maximum squad of 9 players). If your team wins the league and qualifies for the Premier League event, that competition is 6-a-side.

Why Take Part?

A brilliant opportunity for pupils to play competitive football. A pathway to national-level school sport. Great for building confidence, teamwork, and school pride.
