Year 3 & 4 Football Leagues

These leagues are a great way to get your pupils involved in fun, competitive football with a chance to progress to a final’s day.

League Format

Two separate leagues: Mixed and Girls

Schools take part in fixture days (mini tournaments) at 3 venues. Teams earn points based on their results. The top 8 teams from each league (based on points per game) qualify for Finals Day. Schools must attend at least 2 fixture days to be eligible for the league.

Finals Day will be held at Staveley Miners Welfare

Team Details

Matches are 6-a-side. Each team can have a maximum squad of 8 players

Why Take Part?

Encourages teamwork, confidence and physical activity. It’s a fun and inclusive way to engage pupils in sport. This creates opportunities to compete with other local schools.
