Register on your Dashboard

In order to fully access the School Games programme, schools must register a teacher at the school on the School Games dashboard (https://www.yourschoolgames.com/register/ ). Registering will allow schools to be able to access a variety of useful resources along with keeping up with important updates from the School Games programme.

Complete your Inclusive Health Check – Now Live

The Inclusive Health Check is now live. This is an opportunity to review your inclusive provision and access the latest research, guidance and resources to support you. Please access this via your dashboard. This is a self-review tool made up of 20 questions which all require no more than a yes/no answer. The process and questions are a great way to reflect on your school’s current School Games provision and how inclusive this is all for all young people in your school. It will help you identify strengths and also areas for improvement which could then be supported by your Primary PE and Sport Premium.

Access Competitions / Events

As part of the National Funded School Games programme, your school will have the opportunity to attend free-to-access events / competitions.

These events will be placed on the events page of this website.  Please use the filters at the top of the page to identify the correct event for Chesterfield or North East Debyshire School Games.

Attend CPD

As part of your School Games offer, there are a variety of CPD courses available for FREE for members of staff in your school to attend. These courses can be booked via the events page of this website.

Two up and coming sessions are...

Teach Active Primary CPD (In person, venue TBC) – Tuesday 1st February, 13.00-15.30 (https://www.shapepartnership.co.uk/events/book/57267)

Power of an Active School (webinar) – Tuesday 15th February, 16.00-17.00 (https://www.shapepartnership.co.uk/events/book/57270)

School Games Mark 2021/22

The refreshed criteria for School Games Mark 2021/22 has now been shared.  This can be accessed through your School Games dashboard https://www.yourschoolgames.com/register/

This year, following advice from the School Games Consultation Group, the award levels of Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum have been reinstated while trying not to add undue pressure on schools.

The number of questions have been simplified along with the type of responses you will need to submit (i.e. Y/N answers). As your SGO, it is important to know, in more detail how you as a school are in your understanding, provision and uptake of School Games.  To achieve School Games Mark, it will be important to work through the new criteria as this is significantly different to previous years.  If you require any further support with this, please get in touch.
