The largest analysis of how the winter lockdown impacted young people's physical and mental health has recorded an alarming drop in children's physical activity levels, social interaction and fundamental movement skills.
The survey, ran by Schools Active Movement, received responses from 2,647 schools who all provided information on how lockdown had impacted on children’s physical and emotional states.
We would like to say a huge thank you to all the SHAPE schools who completed the survey, your responses are vitally important in helping shape the future of PESSPA for young people in this country.
We are all part of a movement in helping secure the future of PESSPA, focussing on our young people, and ensuring that school sport and physical activity is at the forefront of their recovery.
