NEW annual School Swimming and Water Safety Charter registration

The School Swimming and Water Safety Charter sign up process has changed and we now require schools to register through our brand new school swimming site!

 

After registering on our website, you will get access to a member’s area where you can access an updated set of digital and downloadable resources. 

 

We're also separating the digital and physical resources so that more people can access the digital resources for free and to ensure we create less waste.

 

The School Swimming and Water Safety Charter Starter Pack will be available for the same price (£36), but you will also be able to purchase the individual physical components as and when you need them.

Important points to note:

 
  • Create an account - If you have already signed up to the School Swimming and Water Safety Charter this year, you will need to create a new account via this form to gain access to the free digital resources.
  • If you have already created an account, login to get your resources.

 
  • This is an annual membership - we will send you a form at the start of each academic year to update your swimming statistics.

 
  • Downloadable certificates are now dated by academic year.

 
  • Current digital resources and previous newsletters are free to access through the new website.

 
  • The Charter Starter pack and its components including the resource cards, sticker passports and star achiever pin badges can be purchased from the Webshop.

The Big School Swim is taking place from Monday 14 to Friday 18 November❣️

 

The Big School Swim is an annual event that celebrates swimming in schools. It’s a great opportunity for you and your pupils to celebrate the fun – and importance – of learning how to swim and learning about water safety.

Courses and training

 

Support Teacher & Teacher of School Swimming course

 

 

 

 

This training programme has been specially developed to help school teachers, HLTA, school volunteers and PGCE students to deliver high quality school swimming lessons. 

 

 It will give learners an understanding of core aquatic skills and how to bring these together in order to achieve the Key Stage 2 curriculum requirements.

Teaching School Swimming and Water Safety

 

 

 

 

This course is for Level 2 qualified swimming teachers. 

 It provides knowledge of Key Stage 2 PE curriculum requirements, covering swimming and water safety, how to work with school staff that have completed the 'Teacher of School Swimming Course', and lastly, how to adapt lessons to work with the unique challenges of school swimming.
