RE-PLAY - Re-home Your Unwanted School Equipment

Our new initiative encourages primary schools to exchange equipment instead of throwing it away. By sharing resources, we can reduce waste, support each other, and give items a second life—helping both our schools and the environment.

If you have any equipment that you feel someone else could use, please complete the live form below.  We will then share this with all of you in the Weekly News update.

WE CURRENTLY HAVE 17 PIECES OF EQUIPMENT WHICH NEED A NEW HOME, click the link below

Compulsory Information

To all the schools who are performing at this year's dance festival, if you haven't already done so, please can you remember to submit your Compulsory Information NO LATER THAN Friday 27th February.  Failure to complete it on time may result in your school's tickets not being available to purchase, information being excluded from the programme and your dance performance affected due to musical arrangements.

Y5/6 Indoor Rowing

As you may know, the primary indoor rowing event is new for this year and we are very excited to add it to the calendar!

Date: Thursday 26th February

Time: 12.30-2.30pm

Venue: Frasers Group HQ (Unit C, Brook Business Park, East, Meadow Ln, Shirebrook, Mansfield NG20 8RY) – Please park in the large car park and follow our signs to enter the auditorium.

Details: team of 4 boys and 4 girls – please let us know if you can't bring all 8 pupils

Attached is a list of events and the risk assessment. Also, a picture of what the set-up looks like.

As this is the first event, we will give the children plenty of time to practice and teach them the technique and changeovers.

We are teaming up with our neighbouring partnership in Bolsover, so hopefully we can have plenty of schools there!

We will be using the large auditorium in the head offices of Frasers Group, with all the rowers lined up on the floor and children sat in the tiered seating.

If you are interested in bringing a team, then please complete the booking link;

Get Set For Milan

Get Set for Milan is Team GB and ParalympicsGB's official Milano Cortina 2026 activity programme for schools, families and local communities. It’s designed to help children and their families get active together, try new things, and most importantly, have fun. It’s all about team spirit and building a habit of physical activity.

Children across the country are challenged to make a virtual journey between all the major sporting venues of Milano Cortina 2026, following our Team GB and ParalympicsGB athletes as they make the trip in real life. Teachers, group leaders and families create teams, then everyone gets active at home, in school, or at local sport and community groups, logging their physical activity on the Get Set for Milan website where each active minute becomes virtual kilometres powering the team from Milano to Cortina.

At each Games venue, you’ll meet Team GB and ParalympicsGB athletes to discover an interesting fact about the venue you have reached. With loads of motivational activities and videos, young people will be inspired to get moving to make sure their bus gets to Cortina in time for the Games!
