Have You Got Britain's Funniest Class?

Get ready to flex those funny bones - Britain's Funniest Class is back, and Beano for Schools want your school to join in on the laughter!

To kick things off, they have teamed up with Place2Be to bring you a brand-new lesson, ‘Move Your Mood’. This exciting lesson shows kids how physical movement can boost their mood, brainpower, and even help them crack a smile. It’s all about feeling blamtastic while having fun!

Prepare for some wiggling, giggling, and joke-writing mayhem! They want your class to get moving and spark their imaginations as they come up with the funniest, most original gags for the competition. Need some help crafting the perfect joke? Check out their manual of mischief here, and download our lesson plan here.

Here’s the best part: your class will be in with the chance of winning some blam prizes, including

  • A Beano illustration of the class with their teacher
  • A 'Golden Gnasher' medal for every pupil in the class
  • A fun-filled Beano Day for the class
  • A one-year Beano subscription for every pupil in the class
  • A Beano comic school subscription
  • One copy of Beano's boomic 'The Day We Got Uploaded' published by Farshore for every pupil in the class

Want to enter? Of course, you do! The search for the funniest class in the country starts now and will run until Friday, April 4th, 2025.

Head to their competition page and submit your class's best original jokes here. The Beano mischief makers will shortlist the top ten finalists, and then it’s over to the public to vote for their favourite class. So, who’s got the best jokes in Britain? It might just be you!

Submit your class's jokes today! Class dismissed on April 4th, 2025.
