Lawn Tennis Association Teacher Training
The LTA has organised an LTA Youth Primary Teachers course to take place at Graves Health & Sports Centre on 25th April – 10.00am – 12.00pm.
This opportunity is being offered to teachers in Chesterfield and NE Derbyshire. Any teacher where the school hasn’t previously attended the course will receive a £250 voucher for equipment or follow-on team-teaching support. If a teacher from a school has previously attended, and activated their first voucher in 2020 or 2021, then there is now a second voucher available which will have a value of £150 which can be redeemed against 5 hours of team teaching with an LTA Accredited Coach or equipment from the Zsig schools’ collection.

Supporting PE: An introduction for Teaching Assistants eLearning
This course has been made possible through Inclusion 2024 which is a Department for Education funded grant that is helping to increase participation of children with additional needs in PE and school sport.
This short course is designed to improve your confidence in supporting the delivery of inclusive PE and to help you create outstanding experiences for every pupil, regardless of their abilities.

Inclusive PE
We are excited to share the release of the free Inclusive Physical Education e-learning course as part of the Inclusion 2024 programme investment. This course has 10 bite-size modules that have been designed to increase teachers, teaching assistants, sports practitioners and the wider school workforce in the knowledge and confidence to deliver inclusive PE and school sport. The content has been redeveloped with the support of Leeds Beckett University and Lead Inclusion Schools to ensure the information is informative and relevant to practitioners. Each section contains an introduction, key facts, space for self-reflection on current practice, tips on how to improve your practice and a handy additional resource page. A certificate is provided after each module, in addition to the completion of all ten modules.
