To help introduce and prepare the children for these exciting events, Sam Green will be available to visit your school and run a series of two fun and engaging taster sessions, over a two-week period.
These taster sessions are designed to give the children a hands-on experience with hockey, helping them develop basic skills while enjoying the game. The sessions will be spread over the next three weeks, allowing everyone plenty of time to participate.
These sessions are open to all children in Y1-4, whether they’re new to the game or have some experience. It’s a fantastic opportunity for them to build confidence, learn new skills, and most importantly, have fun!

We are partnered with Chesterfield Hockey Club to support the growth of grassroots hockey. Following on from the taster sessions and the events, we are eager to encourage children to continue their hockey journey and attend Hockey Heroes at the club. This is an 8-week programme for children in Y1-3.
