Bronze Young Ambassador Programme

The Bronze Young Ambassador programme provides leadership training in 4 specific roles; Health, Sport, Active Travel and Media. The Young Ambassadors form the basis of the School Sport Organising Crew and help shape PE, School Sport and Physical Activity in their school. The aims of the programme are:

- Increase the importance of a healthy active lifestyle

- Reduce the number of inactive pupils

- Increase the number of pupils engaging in Level 1 School Games activities

- Increase the number of people actively travelling to school

The programme itself provides young people with the opportunity to learn about their role, develop leadership and life skills, and consult with their teachers to produce action plans for their school.
